I highly highly recommend doing this if you have half a day to spare. In fact make time for this. You wont regret it. Boy o boy was I wrong. Anna was... read more AWESOME, I learned about how she grew up with food specifically with a dish I liked, paella. What was just a dish I ordered at a restaurant to me before became more personal through Anna.

I had some friends who took a different cooking class from someone else the day before, they reported it was a very passive experience as they sat and watched the instructor do most of the cooking. This is definitely NOT the case with Anna's class. You will don a cooking apron and actively participate in the cooking process. Yes you will be handling knives so don't cut yourself as my friend did! After the cooking process is done, you will sit down and enjoy the creation you just made. Talking with Anna over the meal was like getting to know a new friend that is a local, we learned so much more about Barcelona, she was also interested in us and our own backgrounds as well.

I'd highly recommend booking a cooking class with Anna, if you're a small group and are flexible I'd ask if she has any open spots if you want a more intimate experience as our cooking class with our group of 4 was.
